AI Video Tools/Long to Shorts
Long Video to Shorts
Drop in a podcast, interview, lecture or stream. AI reads the whole transcript, scores every moment for hook, flow and value, and turns the ones you pick into vertical clips with face tracking or split screen, captions, and the original subtitles removed if you like.
Upload or drop a long video
MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 4 GB. Paste works too.

How it works
Find the moments
The audio is transcribed word by word, then the whole conversation is read and every candidate moment is scored for hook, flow, value and trend. Tell it what to look for and those moments come first.
Frame them for vertical
Follow face keeps the speaker centred shot by shot; Split stacks two speakers top and bottom when both are on screen and returns to full frame when one is. 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9.
Caption and clean
Word-by-word captions in five styles, or none. Turn on Remove original subtitles to erase the subtitles burned into the source before cutting.
FAQ
How long can the video be?
Files up to 4 GB, so a full podcast episode or a multi-hour stream works. Analysis is priced by length and shown before you start.
What does it cost?
Finding highlights is priced by the length of the video; rendering is priced per clip. Removing the original subtitles adds one credit per second of the clips you render. Every price is shown on the button before you spend anything, and failures are refunded.
Can it remove the subtitles that are already in my video?
Yes. Turn on Remove original subtitles before rendering; only the clips you pick are cleaned, so you pay for their seconds, not the whole video.
What does Split do?
For a landscape podcast cut to 9:16 it stacks the two speakers on top of each other while both are on camera and switches to a full-frame close-up when only one is. A vertical source cut to 16:9 is placed side by side.
Can I keep going later?
Yes. The analysis and any render in progress are saved in this browser, so you can close the tab and come back. The same tool is also a card in Viral Flow and a tool for the Agent.
